Lecture Part 1: Website Design Principles & User Experience

We start with a brief introduction to website design. We’ll cover fundamental design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout. Learn how to create an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive design. We will also dive into user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, focusing on creating a site that is not only beautiful but also user-friendly and intuitive.
10-Minute Break

We take a brief 10-minute break where you can grab a drink or snack, take a restroom break, or simply engage in the class live chat.
Lecture Part 2: Practical Tools & Responsive Design
7:05 PM CST - 8:00 PM CST
After the break, we’ll return to discuss practical design tools and resources that can help you bring your vision to life. We’ll cover popular page builders like Beaver Builder and Elementor. We’ll also talk about designing for accessibility, ensuring your site is usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Finally, we’ll cover responsive design principles to ensure your website looks great on all devices, from desktops to mobile phones.
Q&A Session (Optional)
8:00 PM CST - 8:30 PM CST
After the lecture is over, if you wish to stay a bit longer, we will have a Q&A session to answer any questions you have. You can submit questions in advance or put them in the live chat.
