Lecture Part 1: Introduction to Video Editing Software & Basic Techniques

In the first hour of class, we’ll start with an introduction to various video editing software options, both free and paid. We’ll cover the basic editing techniques, such as cutting, trimming, and arranging clips. Learn how to navigate the software interface and utilize essential tools to create a cohesive video project.

10-Minute Break

We take a brief 10-minute break where you can grab a drink or snack, take a restroom break, or simply engage in the class live chat.

Lecture Part 2: Adding Effects, Transitions & Exporting Videos

7:05 PM CST - 8:00 PM CST

After the break, we’ll return to discuss how to add effects and transitions to enhance your video content. We’ll cover the process of exporting and sharing your videos across various platforms. Additionally, we’ll provide tips for creating engaging video content that captures and retains audience interest.

Q&A Session (Optional)

8:00 PM CST - 8:30 PM CST

After the lecture is over, if you wish to stay a bit longer, we will have a Q&A session to answer any questions you have. You can submit questions in advance or put them in the live chat.

How It Works

  4. After Class: Recordings of the class will be available after the class is over.
